Sunflower Quilt by Pickle Pie Designs
This is a perfect beginner class to learn how to PIECE and QUILT using your embroidery machine.
Come to the store and get hands on experience using your embroidery machine. We are a Bernina dealer so we support those folks who have Berninas, but feel free to join us if you have another brand. You need to know how your machine works.
Sign up for the class and then download the design from Pickle Pie Designs using our Affiliate Link ---> https://picklepiedesigns.com/?ref=PAMKAUPPILA and then search for Sunflower In-the-Hoop Quilt Embroidery Design and download it to your USB stick and bring with you to class. We are NOT adding the border to this design. The instructions are in a PDF file when you download your design. Print it out and bring with you.
There is Pre-work required before class. We are making the 5" block. (There are sizes for 5", 6", 7", 8", 9" and 10" blocks!) Please cut out all your fabric, stabilizer and batting before class and bring it to the class.
You will need either the small clamp hoop, or Midi Hoop. The Oval hoop fits but is quite tight, so it's hard to know how the batting will fit, etc. If you use the medium clamp hoop, you will just need to make sure you cut your Polymesh big enough to fit in the hoop. (I used the medium clamp hoop for the shop sample).
