Virtual Class Sunflower Quilt by Pickle Pie Designs

Join us virtually via Zoom for a in the hoop piecing and quilting class where we will make this Sunflower quilt by Pickle Pie designs. Sign up for this class if you wish to do it virtually. We will also be hosting an in store version of this class if you can drive to our shop.
Virtual users can download the design from our Affliate Link by clicking HERE. Then search for Sunflower In The Hoop Quilt Embroidery Design. It is $27.99. We are NOT adding the border in this class. Download to your USB and be ready to go. Contact us for help in downloading the design and we can download it to one of our TFQS USBs and include in the package for $15 for the design and $27.99 for the design.
We will be making the 5" blocks. Purchase your fabric kit HERE. You will also need batting for each square we make (16). We recommend a low loft type of cotton batting suitable for machine embroidery. Here's some we have by Gypsy Quilter.
You will need either the small clamp hoop, or Midi Hoop. The Oval hoop fits but is quite tight, so it's hard to know how the batting will fit, etc. If you use the medium clamp hoop, you will just need to make sure you cut your Polymesh big enough to fit in the hoop. (I used the medium clamp hoop for the shop sample).
We recommend Isacord thread. Gold, White and Brown. The fabrics are mostly Moda Bella Solids, so the colors you choose don't have to be exact, if you have them in your stock, they should be fine. Suggested Isacord Colors 0702, 0010, and 1355
You will also need a roll of OESD Polymesh and a size 75/11 embroidery needle.
PREWORK REQUIREMENT:
Follow the instruction in the design download and cut out all your fabric, batting and polymesh prior to class.
